It's neon! Actually, it's just a bright pink smoothie and it is absolutely delicious! The bright pink hue is coming from a new ingredient - the beet.
Beets are a good source of folate, good for keeping the brain young and thriving, the production of red blood cells, and combating depression. They are also excellent for
detoxification.
Ingredients for my smoothie:
Handful of Strawberries
Handful of Raspberries
One Small Beet
Half a cup of Coconut Milk
Apple (optional)
Ice (optional)
Load all ingredients into blender and mix until consistency is to your liking. Adorn glass with a strawberry (to make it pretty, of course)! Eat strawberry before or after you drink the smoothie - your choice.
