I wanted to wash my hair on Friday the 13th (insert spooky noises), but by the time I got home from the Founder's Day program I was just too tired. Thinking I would have time on Saturday morning, I took my style and loose twists out, only to remember that I had a movie date with the bestie to see "Beauty and the Beast". YIKES! So I came up with this quick style to hold me over until I washed later that evening:
When I got back from the movie (classic - my favorite Disney movie hands down!), I immediately jumped into my hair routine. After I washed my hair with
ABS and Tresemme Naturals/Garnier Fructis for Colored Treated Hair, I wasn't too sure as to how I wanted to style it, so I pretty much played around and came up with the following:
I only used my
Flaxseed gel and
Shea butter mixture for styling aids. Since I did this style on wet hair, I decided I wanted to stretch the twists for a little more length:

I didn't like the outcome. I looked like a little girl, so I had to switch up the style a little. I decided to take out the flat twists in the back, separate them into single twists, and combine them with the flat twists in the front to make a twisted style. I figured this way, all of my hair would be protected. I am REALLY diggin' this style... so easy and effortless. I will be wearing it like this for a week or so, ... yanno, until I get bored. After Saturday, I will have one more week of protective styling left! Let's see if I can hang...
